Byron brings an inside scoring threat and his tremendous athletic ability to the GreenHawks. Byron spent two years at Tulane University before transferring to the University of Maryland where he became part of the starting lineup. During his senior year Byron helped lead Maryland to the school’s first National Championship. He scored an impressive 1,473 points throughout his college career. Since graduating Byron has spent time in the NBA, NBDL and CBA. Before joining the GreenHawks Byron played with the Wilmington Sea Dawgs and averaged 21 ppg.
Originally from Louisiana, Byron is excited to be playing with his cousin Terrance Mouton. Byron is also active in the Montgomery County youth basketball teams. He runs after school clinics for elementary and middle school youth, as well as serving as a mentor to current University of Maryland players.
