Hugh Jones: After college I did want to play pro but it didn’t go as planned. My first pro experience was with the Nighthawks.
 
GH: You become the face of AND1 a couple of years ago. How did AND1 find out about you and more importantly how did you become the face of AND1?

Joe Flegler Visits National Children’s Center

Rockville, MD…GreenHawks guard and DC native Joe Flegler recently visited the National Children’s Center School in Northwest DC to talk to the kids there about giving it your all and to play a little basketball there.
 

GreenHawks assist at DC Central Kitchen

Washington, DC…The Maryland GreenHawks recently traded in their headbands for hair nets and joined the DC Central Kitchen in their fight on “combating hunger” in the community. AND1 Mixtape Tour star and current summer league guard, Pat “Da Roc” Robinson and former GreenHawks player Andrew “Spongebob” Washington assisted the culinary staff in preparing meals for the evening.
 

GreenHawks Visit Children’s National Medical Center

Rockville, MD…On Tuesday, July 20th, members of the GreenHawks visited the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, to help cheer up the kids. GreenHawks ambassador Wade Dunston along with members of the GreenHawks Street Team were on hand to greet the children in the hospital’s atrium.
